Can I use Uchikake Furisode or for dancing geisha? My friends ask me to perform a dance geisha and I obliged. I do not know what kind should i buy to dance. I watched several videos on youtube and I could not tell if they are or uchikake furisode. Uchikake are heavier and I fear that it may be difficult to move in it. Furisode are lighter, but it is the susohiki that are actually used in the dances, but are so expensive.
Why you should buy geisha dress for a performance only once for pleasure?
Genuine is Uchikake dress for the bride, and not as a performer geisha.
Genuine Furisode girl's dress is also an amateur unmarried, non-Geisha-worker professioal.
You can rent any type of dress called Geisha through many websites rather easily.
