Paper Recycling

Paper RecyclingFor Paper Recycling Guide My Business

One of the simplest - and in fact one of the oldest ways to make extra money - is the collection of old newspapers and selling them to a recycling plant in your region.

Believe it or not, you can develop a very respectable income collecting and selling paper for recycling centers. It certainly does not take any education, specialized training or experience, it's as simple as saving your old newspapers and handing them to a central collection center.

Some "paper recyclers make more than $ 100,000 a year in this sector. If other people do, then there is no reason you can not do it! About the equipment you'll need is a truck or trailer that you can either drag behind your car. We even found an "old timer" who was collecting paper of that era with a pushcart! While interviewing, we found that it was deliberately chosen not to develop, but it certainly could have.

The prices paid for paper these days by the recycling centers will astound you (and remember that the quotations given here may be worsened since our research). For example, documents are old news commanding $ 50 per ton and over; cardboard used, $ 75 per ton, and high grade office paper as much as $ 120 per tonne. This type of paper used for money that you can usually find free can move on Easy Street in a hurry. Everything, of course, depends on how you organized, and how hard you work to build your business.

Make no mistake, we live in a world of paper. Americans use 200 million tons of paper each year - for everything from newspapers, books and cardboard boxes. After quick use, we throw at least 100 million tonnes of paper, almost all of which could be recycled. This means that there are about 8 billion worth of paper that can be collected and recycled each year. So if you are looking to start a company with strong profit potential real, what are you waiting for?

Just look around your own house, garage or basement, for example. What do you do with the old newspapers after you've read? What about all the mail you receive each week? Chances are that the paper waste accumulating in a corner of the garage or basement until one child asked if he could carry him out of school or car paper cubs. Or maybe your wife and your children ambitious weekend, clean the garage and haul all for the collection truck at one of the local malls. (We said maybe!)

It is true that selling stacks of newspapers you've accumulated over the last two months or so will not make you rich. In fact, it is unlikely your own accumulation of paper will add up to one tonne per year and will certainly not much in extra income. But think about the tonnage in the piles of old newspapers you can collect from your family, friends and neighbors. You can easily collect a bag l00 pounds of old newspapers from the population in your neighborhood each week - and it's your immediate neighborhood.

And then think of all the revenue that you would if you moved everything to the paper recycling center. If you are serious, and get you prepared, you can easily make $ 300 or more every weekend, and it does not include your time. Some planning and effort on your part are the prime conditions.

This business requires organization, some energy from you, and at least initially, your time. But if you put forth the effort that we have described, there is no reason not easily realize a very comfortable income with your own recycling business.
