I think I watched a little more if I were you. But this is just my opinion. Guess we just have different tastes. I tend to like dresses with lace.

If it's something more to your style and just make sure you're comfortable to wear all day, go for it! As for colors, I agree with other posters that you can choose any color you want as long as you're happy with your choice. Others are bound to respect your wishes and choices.
