Lehenga skirt is worn with a choli and duppatta. It also comes in traditional Indian dress . Lehenga Choli is a very colorful dress, which has a lot of mirror work and embroidery.

Lehenga could be very heavy, light or a mixture of heavy and light embroidery. A choli is relatively lighter work than the lehenga. Similarly, a duppatta or chunri could be heavy, light or semi trucks. According to the occasion and the region a lehenga choli is selected and worn.

Varieties lehenga choli:
The variety of lehenga choli varies according to region and with the occasion. Majorly it can be classified into four categories which are:

Ghaghra Choli:
Ghaghra Choli is used on several occasions but most often it is chosen for the wedding. A Ghaghra is a skirt length from waist to ankles. It is worn with a Choli and Chunri or duppatta. A Choli is expected to cover the chest and duppatta must be worn on the chest and head.
