Is it true that you can machine wash Gaynor Minden Pointe Shoes?

one of the dancers in my class said that she puts her points in the washer machine to get clean, I saw them and they seem to be ok, not bad or anything but shapeless. her shoes are Gaynor Minden and so are mine, which are very dirty if it safe or what?

I do not recommend to do. I know from experience not to wet the area of your tips too or ruin you.

If you really want to clean it, there is this shoe tip is that most ballerinas use to cover spots or dirty areas of your points. :)

I would not try it if I were you. It would never work to a traditional shoe tip the puck, but I'm not sure Gaynor.

I would not recommend it. Although the box and rod Gaynor is reinforced plastic, it does not mean he can not resist any form of pressure and torsion.

Clean your shoes in the usual way (damp cloth and a little liquid detergent for me). Sure, unless you have a really old pair that you can afford to ruin.

I doubt it, but I do not Gaynor Minden, therefore I do not know for sure. But I would not, because it could kill them, then you need to buy a new pair, which is never fun to see how expensive they are. Because it might make saucer, then the adhesive can loosen or whatever, and which would not be good.
